In January of 2012, a $150,000 interior renovation was completed at the Frontier Mall.

A new 35,000 square foot No Frills store opened in Frontier Mall December 15, 2010. The Battlefords newest grocery store is attracting numerous customers with great quality products and prices that won't be beat.

A new The Source store re-opened October, 2010 after extensive renovations and increased product selection.

A 10,000 square foot Dollarama store opened in Frontier Mall in September, 2009. This popular new store offers absolutely everything from candy and food products to household products, party supplies, gifts, school supplies, toys and so much more. Most items are only $1.00 and customers are thrilled this new store has opened in Frontier Mall.

Big D's Snack Bar opened in February, 2010 and offers everything from hot dogs, pizza and french fries to salads, chili, nachos and more.

Ardene opened in Frontier Mall in early 2009 and offers the hottest collections of fashion accessories, jewellery, shoes, clothing and so much more.

The Prairie North Population Health/Primary Health Care Site opened in Frontier Mall in July, 2007. The centre is the new home for Prairie North's Community and Public Health Services, a Community-based Lab and a Primary Health Care site that supports physicians and nurse practitioners. The design of the centre has taken advantage of the opportunities and efficiencies realized by bringing together different health service providers to improve patient/client care.
